Santa Baby has a new role in New York: The mayor of Santa Barbara

Santa Baby, the baby-faced elf who lives in New Mexico, has become the new mayor of the small town of Santa Maria in the heart of the Santa Barbara Mountains.

Santa Baby is now the mayor of New York, the mayor’s office said in a statement.

He was elected to his position Friday.

He previously was the Santa Maria councilman.

Santa Maria Mayor Steve LeBlanc says he is honored to be appointed Santa Baby.

The elf has been with the community since 2008, when he was first elected to Santa Maria Council.

Santa Baby says he loves his job and he’s honored to take the job.

“I think it’s going to be a great change,” he said.

“It’s going out of the way for everybody to know who he is.”

Santa Baby’s first act will be a celebration of Christmas, the councilman said.

Santa baby, dressed in a Santa suit, will lead the first-ever annual Christmas parade at the city’s main square.

Santa babies will also perform in the Santa Fe County Fairgrounds.

Santa baby’s first city job was working in Santa Maria’s elementary school in the early 2000s.

He started working as a nurse and then a counselor at Santa Maria Central High School.
