Baby dinosaurs, a family of baby-sized prehistoric reptiles that lived between 100 million and 40 million years ago, are back on the menu in the new season of the Discovery Channel’s Baby Dinosaur.
Discovery’s newest baby dinosaur, Baby Scyther, is featured in the series.
“Baby Scyther is one of my favorite babies,” Discovery executive producer, Chris Odom, said in a statement.
“We’ve never been so excited to have Baby Scyder back in the show and I’m so excited for the audience to see her in action.”
The show’s producers also shared that the Baby Scyrer will be “the most badass baby dinosaur on the show.”
Scyther’s adorable appearance is one that Odom has seen many times in the past, but he’s still a little unsure how much of a fan he will become of her appearance.
“Baby Scyder’s been on the Discovery family for a while now, so I’m sure she’s not a huge fan of me,” he said.
“But I love her!
I love baby dinosaurs!”
Scyher’s appearance in the season finale of the show is part of a trend for Discovery’s new baby dinosaur series.
Discovery has also announced plans to make baby dinosaurs in space, which will be the next big baby dinosaur theme park attraction.
“It’s exciting to have the opportunity to make a baby dinosaur in space in the future,” Discovery said in announcing the plans.
“I’m really excited to get to play with Baby Scythre,” Discovery’s producer, Sarah Wambaugh, said of the upcoming baby dinosaur attraction.
